#1 Whale Watching

North Pacific Humpback Whales AKA KOHOLA are the 5th largest whale in the word and it is weight 50,000 lbs to 80,000 lbs. The reason they travel every year all the way from the Alaska ocean to the Hawaiian Ocean for their Winter migration because of three main reasons; to breed, to birth, and to raise their young calves in safety.

I was really lucky to see a young whale calve during a snorkeling boat trip. It was amazing that the boat
has a sprawling observation deck gave us the panoramic photo opportunities. This is definitely one of the
must do fun thing to do for everyone (Kids, Adults and elderly) in Maui Hawaii.
Cost of 2.5 hours Whale Watch Tour: $52.95 USD per Adults(13+) $43.95 per Children(3-12) Free for Infants(2 & less)
#2 MAUI SNUBA DIVING

What is SNUBA DIVING? Snuba diving is the hybrid version between snorkeling and scuba diving. You do not need to take a lesson to obtain license nor carry the bulky equipment with you like Scuba Driving but still able to go under the water to have the most spectacular experience.
You just need to be 8 years old or older, no existing medical issue or no more than 3 months pregnant, have basic swimming skill and comfortable in the water. Congratulation! You are good to go!!
Your Snuba Instructor will let you review and practice the skills discussed during the briefing on the surface of the ocean. He will also cover the hand signals for underwater communication, mask clearing, how to breath, skills for controlled ascents and descents, ear equalization techniques and more. Do not panic! I have not swim for almost 6 years and I was able to manage to do Snuba.
Here is a peek of what it looks like...

It's nice that you don't need a license or go thru a long training then you can do Snuba diving. I have never thought of myself holding a sea urchin and see some sea turtle under the water. It is an unforgettable underwater adventure that makes me rate it one of the top 5 fun thing to do in Maui Hawaii.
#3 SNORKELING

You know need to know how to swim to go snorkeling. Most of the package includes the life jacket and
floating board for you to use. You are basically floating on the surface of the ocean to check out the view
under the water.

#4 Road to HANA hike

You would enjoy Road to Hana if you like the outdoor adventures and beautiful nature scenery. It was too
bad the weather was cloudy with shower. It could be very dangerous here during the rainy season. Beside
the unique beautiful scenery, you must try the Banana bread, Coconut chips, Pineapple smoothies and
local honey!!!!
Make sure you plan your trip ahead of time, pick out some spots that you really want to check out
doesn't matter if you want to go for just day trip or stay overnight. You can't check out everything here
because it is exhausting if you have limited time.
TO BRING LIST:
1. Backpack
2. Snacks
3. Water!!
4. Water shoes/hiking shoes
5.Maps/ Road to Hana app on your phone
6. Mosquito Spray
7. Sun screen
8. Sun glasses
9. Towels
10. Cash to buy their famous BANANA BREAD/ ROASTED COCONUT
The last thing you want to do is driving in the dark in Road to Hana. You will see why once you look at the map.

We went from Kihei to Road to Hana the drive was about 2.5 hours.
#5 Submarine Undersea Adventure

I feel like a kid again just because of how exciting this is. This is something that you should do when you
go visit Hawaii. This is A Real Submarine that could carry up to 48 passengers to depths of 100 feet and
beyond!!Perfect for families and a group of friends to do as it is safe and comfortable, the duration is
about 45 minutes. The In House Tour Guide will entertain and give you some information of everything
that you see under the water - the beautiful fish, other marine life and coral reefs.
